The Lotus Exige is unfortunetly illegal on the roads of North America. This is becuase of its very minimal safety features. The ironic thing is that the ultra low weight body is the reason why this is such a fast car. Powered by a 1.8 litre Inline-4 engine that provides only 192hp, this car would appear to be nothing special. This is where the super light frame comes in. The Exige weighs only 1720 lbs! No that is not a mistake, 1720 lbs! Becuase of the low weight, the Exige can go from 0-60mph in only 4.3 seconds!. It has a top speed of only 136mph, but this car isn't built for very high speeds. The other notable thing about the Exige is its suburb handling. This is one hell of a sportscar!
